6 injured in knife attacks on passersby in Delhi's Mangolpuri

At least six people were injured after a group of men allegedly attacked passersby with knives in the Mangolpuri area on Friday evening, Aug 21st  police said.

The attacks were reported from three lanes in Mangolpuri's L Block.

The injured were taken to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, with two later referred to Safdarjung Hospital, police said.

Police are scanning CCTV footage to identify and apprehend the accused. A preliminary probe suggests old enmity may have triggered the attack, and some suspects are believed to be juveniles, police said.

Locals alleged the attackers also robbed people, saying the incident sparked panic in the area.
