Mumbai: 1 Killed, 3 injured as BEST bus rams into multiple vehicles in Dadar

A tragic road accident in Mumbai’s Dadar area claimed one life and left three others injured after a Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST Undertaking) bus rammed into multiple vehicles on Sunday.
The incident occurred when the bus reportedly lost control and collided with several vehicles in the busy Dadar locality, causing panic in the area and disrupting traffic movement.
According to initial reports, the impact of the collision was severe, leaving one person dead on the spot and injuring three others. Emergency teams rushed to the location, and the injured were immediately taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident, including whether mechanical failure, speeding, or human error led to the crash. The bus has been seized for inspection.
Authorities are also reviewing CCTV footage from the area and recording statements of eyewitnesses to reconstruct the sequence of events.
The accident once again raises concerns about road safety and traffic management in densely populated stretches of Mumbai, particularly in high-traffic zones like Dadar.
