‘Govt to take full responsibility for children's future’

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Tuesday, inaugurated the Atal Residential School in Nawabganj, built at a cost of Rs 73.25 crore.

Addressing parents, Chief Minister Yogi assured them that their children, having passed the entrance exam and secured admission, are now in good hands. “There is no need to check on them daily. The government takes full responsibility for their education, well-being, and future,” he stated.

During the event, he also distributed school bags to primary and upper primary students. Speaking to the students, he highlighted the importance of discipline and hard work. “

"There is no substitute for dedication. Follow the school’s schedule, study on time, play, and eat properly. Stay focused and avoid distractions,| he advised.

During his visit, the chief minister inspected the facilities at the school, reviewed classroom arrangements, and instructed officials to ensure seamless operations. He interacted with students from various districts of Bareilly division, enquiring about their accommodation and meals. He also distributed chocolates and school bags to the children, while students captured the moment with selfies.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Yogi expressed his delight at inaugurating the Atal Residential School in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s centenary year. He highlighted that by December 25, 2025, when Atal Ji’s 100th birth anniversary is commemorated, this grand institution will stand as a lasting tribute to his legacy. He extended congratulations to the residents of Bareilly division, the students, and future generations who will benefit from the school’s facilities.

During the visit, Chief Minister Yogi also planted a Rudraksha tree in the Vidya Sahay campus, symbolising the growth and prosperity of education in the region.

The chief minister emphasised the vital role of education in nation-building, calling it the foundation of a country'’ success. He stated, “Education is essential for empowering a nation, civilizing society, and instilling values in children.”
