Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch the new version of Shri Hanuman Chalisa sung by popular playback singer Padma Shri Sonu Nigam in Ayodhya on the auspicious occasion of Deepotsava on October 23.
“This rendition of Shri Hanuman Chalisa is melodious, soothing and grand,” a government official said.
Sonu Nigam is also likely to perform at the event to enthrall the audience in Ayodhya with his mesmerising voice.
The chief minister, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will also attend the grand Deepotsava celebrations in Ayodhya on Sunday when about 17 lakh diyas (earthen lamps), including over 1.25 lakh diyas made of cow dung, will illuminate Ayodhya, setting a new world record.
