Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday reviewed the preparations for a grand and divine Deepotsava in Ayodhya and issued the necessary instructions to the officials. He also released the Deepotsava logo.
The principal secretary, tourism, Mukesh Meshram made the presentation regarding the preparations of Deepotsava.
While supervising the preparations at the 'Ramkatha Sangrahalaya', the chief minister directed the concerned officials to complete the preparations in a time-bound manner, keeping cleanliness and safety standards in mind. He further instructed the officials to make roads potholes-free before Diwali.
Nodal officer Ajay Pratap Singh informed the mediapersons that so far about 12 lakh diyas had been prepared for the 'Ram ki Paidi' ghat. The meeting was attended by various senior officials and public representatives.
