After taking oath of office new ministers in the Yogi government reiterated that they would work as per the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure return of good governance and improvement of law and order in the state.
All the ministers were unanimous in their views that priority of the government is development and scoffed at the idea of creation of Hindu rashtra in Uttar Pradesh because Yogi Adityanath has been sworn as Chief Minister of the state.
“You are creating a wrong image of this government. The media has given a communal colour to this government. Please do not do that. It is the finest government UP has ever got and we are committed to bring Uttar Pradesh back to rails but the media is projecting us in a bad shade,” Minister of State (Independent Charge) Swati Singh told The Pioneer.
Satish Mahana, a veteran politician who has won election for seven times in a row and was sworn in as Cabinet rank minister, said that the mandate of the people is to improve law and order. This government is committed on that front. “You can see the impact of this government. The minister who was absconding in previous government was arrested within days of BJP coming to power,” Mahana said.
“This arrest was possible because the BJP Government has shown a political will to arrest the tainted minister. We will show similar will to bring crime under control. This is our commitment to the people and we will fulfill that,” he said.
The deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma said that state needs roads and power. Children need good education and women are craving for health care. People are looking at us with hope that we will bring smiles on their faces.
“Mind my word. We will introduce policies as per the directives of Prime Minister that will change the lives of the people for betterment. Uttar Pradesh will march forward and will become Uttam Pradesh in no time,” Dr Sharma said.
