After legislators from the ruling party now BJP MP says that minister in Yogi government are corrupt but in the same breath claimed that no one can raise a finger at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath.

BJP MP from Kaiserganj, Braj Bhushan Sharan Singh, during a Gram Swaraj campaign held in Gonda to highlight the achievements of the four year rule of the NDA government said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are honest in true sense but the same cannot be said but UP ministers.

The statement of the MP came during his interaction with the media after holding a chaupal at Haldarmau block. “I can give honesty certificates to PM Modi and CM Yogi but it cannot be given to the ministers. There are complaints about ministers minting money and this everyone knows,” he said adding the time has come for the Yogi to take action against the corrupt ministers.

During the chaupal, the BJP MP heard the grievances of the villagers and assured them to solve it while highlighted the achievements of the four years of the Modi government.

Earlier, Suheldeo Bharatiya Samaj Party president and UP cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar too continued to raise his voice against the BJP government over mis-governance and prevailing corruption.

Earlier two BJP MlAs one from Ballia and another from Hardoi had blamed Yogi Government for failing to control corruption which led to this defeat. Shyam Prakash, BJP MlA from Gopamau assembly segment in Hardoi, alleged that state officers are corrupt. “Farmers aren’t happy with government because officers are not listening to them. There are several other reasons responsible for party’s debacle,” he said without elaborating any further.

Shyam Prakash even wrote a five line poem on his Facebook account claiming that still Modi is the most popular leader of the country but his popularity is mired by corruption charges.

Another BJP MlA from Beria assembly segment in Ballia district Surendra Singh has compared officers with prostitutes saying officers are taking money but are not doing the work. “The entire government is involved in corruption and the people are not getting the benefit of the welfare schemes. Therefore, they are angry and had voted against the government,” Singh said.
