Yogi Aditynath Question's former CM

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attacked the previous Samajwadi Party government saying that the former CM did not work as the custodian of the state and instead behaved as if the state belonged to his family.

Highlighting corruption in laying of lucknow-Agra Expressway, Yogi while speaking in a programme hosted a private news channel in lucknow on Friday, said that the SP regime did nothing to provide security for passengers.

“Most cases of loots were reported on this Expressway in the area falling under the native region of the former Chief Minister,” said Yogi while claiming that his government was not acting against anyone, but was merely probing Rs corruption’ in the execution of government projects.

Reacting to a question on why he seemed soft on Mulayam Singh Yadav and tough on Akhielsh, Yogi said that the CM is supposed to be custodian of the state but the last government worked as if the entire state belonged to his family.

“I am not against any individual but action is being initiated against corruption of the last government,” he stressed.

Interestingly, Yogi also reacted strongly to a query that he was merely a Rs rubber stamp’ in the state government.

“I am not a rubber stamp and I am dynamic in my work. If still  someone called me a ‘rubber stamp’, then I pray to God that every state should have a Chief Minister like me,” asserted Yogi while rebutting the charge.

Yogi also refused of having any interest in national politics. Rs Rs I am not at all interested in the politics of the Centre and once I accomplice my job in the state, I will return to Gorakhpur,” clarified Yogi to a question.

The CM also denied of having any plan to impose any fresh tax, or taking loan to waive off farmers loan. Rs Rs My government will not impose any tax or borrow to waive off farmers loan but would arrange money by checking unnecessary expenditure of my government,” Yogi said.

On collection of stone in Ayodhya for construction of Ram Temple, the CM claimed that there was nothing new in it.

“Such exercise has been made earlier also so it should be not seen as any special move. We will wait for a final order from the Court,” Yogi said.

Chief Minister also tried to send a strong signal on law and order claiming that none of the hardened criminals will be spared in his government and they will be sent beind bars.
