Former chairman of Khadi Gramodyog Board, Dr Yashveer Singh, joined the Rashtriya Lok Dal on Monday. RLD national spokesman Anupam Mishra said Singh joined the party in the presence of party’s national president Jayant Chaudhary and senior leaders Trilok Tyagi and Manoj Chaudhary. He said Singh was national president of Gujjar Sabha and had worked with Chaudhary Charan Singh and Chaudhary Ajit Singh.
Mishra welcomed Singh in the RLD and said the party would gain strength by his joining the RLD. He said there was unrest among different sections of society due to the faulty policies of the ruling dispensation and RLD had successfully highlighted the issue in the past and was keeping its struggle for the cause and concern of common people.
“Due to this stand of the RLD on public issues, people and leaders of different political parties are heading towards the RLD,” he said.
