Yadav praises hardwork of party workers

In an attempt to envigorate party workers, senior Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav said that the credit for astounding victory of the party candidates in the just concluded District Panchayat polls goes to the workers for their dedicated efforts to ensured victory.

“This is the victory of the workers. Their enthusiasm proves that they will script a similar victory in the 2017 Assembly elections,” Yadav told reporters in lucknow on Friday.

He said that these elections have changed the political scenario so much that BJP leaders are now raking up the contentious Ram temple issue. “They are doing it because the Opposition has failed to find faults with the government and now it wants to divide the society on communal lines,” he said.

“The law and order in the state is better than any other state of the country,” he said while alleging that the BJP leaders are defaming the state by raking up false issues like law and order. “The BJP should take care of Varanasi, where the party lost elections and the Centre has failed to start even a single project,” he said.

When asked about the fate of rebels, who had won the District Panchayat elections defeating the SP candidates, Yadav said that the party high command could consider withdrawing suspension and expulsion  if they tender apology.

SP has suspended two MlAs and expelled several senior leaders for anti-party activities.

Reacting to leader of the Opposition and BSP leader, Swami Prasad Maurya’s allegations that he did not approve any name for lokayukta’s post, Yadav said that the government has the signature of Maurya in the recommendation of the Judges for the lokayukta post.
