Close on the heels of walking out of the anti BJP grand alliance for the assembly elections of Bihar, the Samajwadi party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Sunday slammed the Congress for the rise of the Saffron party in national politics.

In a big jolt to the unity of the janata parivar the SP saying it has been insulted had announced to quit the grand alliance on September 3. The grand alliance of Bihar also includes the Congress.

The SP chief attacked the Congress in Mainpuri where he laid the foundation stone of the Sainik School on Sunday. The UP cabinet had recently approved a proposal for setting g up Sainik School in mainpuri, the erstwhile lok Sabha constituency of the SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

RsRsMyopic and short sighted policies of the Congress have facilitated the rise of the BJP to power at the Center. In lok Sabha all the parties except the congress praised the development works done by the Samajwadi party government in UP. Congress has no future now, its strength in lok Sabha has dwindled to historic low and this party is finished. Now congress is finished and has no future as the BJP is firmly in saddle in power in Delhi’’, said the SP chief in Mainpuri.

lashing out at the Congress Yadav said RsRs it’s the Samajwadi party which has consistently fought the communal forces led by the BJP but the congress instead of fighting the BJP they opposed the Samajweadi party and even today they are opposing us in UP’’.

The SP chief on the occasion also tried to send a conciliatory message to the soldiers as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi woos retired soldiers of the Indian army by implementing the One Rank One Pension (OROP). Mulayam Singh Yadav extracted a promise from his son and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to complete the construction of the Sainik (soldier) school in Mainpuri, within the stipulated timeframe.

"We had already given the Sainik School, I wanted to inaugurate it but it's not complete. So the CM should tell what time will he complete the School" said Mulayam from the dais which he shared with his son. Mulayam Singh asked his chief minister son to complete building the school within 8 months and not one year duration that Akhilesh had promised before. CM sounding like an obedient son agreed to his father and said " It will be done in 8 months".

Asking the chief minister to accelerate the process of development of the state SP chief said RsRs CM choose one district in each of the administrative divisions of the state and develop the district as ide4al district by saturating it with all the indices of development. Praising his son Mulayam Singh said RsRs Akhilesh government is doing good work and he is confident that the SP will form the next government in the state after the 2017 state assembly elections.

Earlier addressing the meeting chief minister Akhilesh Yadav said the Sainik school will be the second such school in the state. RsRsThe state government has finalized plans to open two more sainik schools in the state’’, said the CM.
