Samajwadi Party national chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has asked party workers to take the ideology of socialism forward as it was the only method to ensure equality in society.

“The society can move forward only if all are equal and have equal opportunity. Samajwad is the only way out. The onus is now on the workers to spread the message of Samajwad,” Yadav said while addressing party workers in lucknow on Friday.

"With the Assembly elections round the corner, there is a conspiracy against the SP government. The workers should fan out to all corners of the state and apprise people about the good work done by the Akhilesh Yadav government in four years which no other government could do in the last 40 years," advised the SP chief.

"The SP government has worked in all sectors - health, education and agriculture. Irrigation facilities have been made free in UP. loans of farmers up to Rs 50,000 have been waived off. Our government has given an impetus to girl education through Kanya Vidya Dan Scheme,” Yadav reminded.

He said there was no difference between our words and action. "We have fulfilled what we promised. Samajwadi Party is not like the BJP where PM Narendra Modi has failed to fulfill even one promise," he claimed.

Yadav also appealed to the workers to actively participate in the Samajwadi Cycle Yatra starting on April 18 to conclude onApril 27. He asked the workers to go to every village and propagate the good work being done by the Akhilesh Yadav government during the 10 days.

“Ensure we form the next government in UP. If we can do that Samajwadi Party will sweep the 2019 lok Sabha polls too,” he said.

Senior party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav, SP vice-president Naresh Agarwal and MlC, SRS Yadav too addressed the workers.
