Giving a clarion call to party leaders to resolve their differences and work unitedly to ensure the victory of National Democratic Alliance in the next lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janata Party in-charge of the state Amit Shah told them “abhi nahi to kabhi nahi” (if not now then never).
“The bugle for political change has already been sounded in Uttar Pradesh. The people want a change and they are looking towards BJP to pull them out of the mire of corruption and misgovernance of Congress led United Progressive Alliance Government,” Amit Shah told party workers here on Friday. Shah held a series of meetings with members of the state party’s executive, former presidents and former MPs and MlAs. The thrust in his meetings was to take the party to the people and strengthen it at the booth level.
“The BJP is the only party that has a proven record of providing good governance. People still remember the golden days of Atal Bihari Vajpayee when inflation was under control and the benefits of government schemes reached the poor people,” he said. “We can achieve that height only if the party workers work unitedly by dissolving their differences and work with only one resolve to make Narendra Modi the next prime minister of the country,” he said. Shah will go to Bareilly, Varanasi and Allahabad and meet the party workers in the next couple of days.
