Fed up with family discord, a woman along with her two daughters, one of whom was major, ended their lives jumping before a train in Gorakhpur district on Sunday morning.
The incident came into light when the railway staff spotted the mutilated bodies lying at railway tracks and informed the police about this.
During investigation, the bodies were identified to be of Chandrawati (45) and her daughters Radhika (25) and Neeta (12), all of Noorie village under Pipraich village. It came to light that Chandrawati lived with her husband Bhagwan Singh and her daughters. The family was passing through acute financial crisis. The cops believed that Chandrawati and her daughters ended their lives in frustration after they failed to cope up with problems on domestic front. The police are further investigating the case. The bodies had been sent for post-mortem and a case has been registered in this connection.
Killed Four persons of a family were killed in a road mishap incident in Azamgarh on Saturday. According to reports, a SUV carrying passengers collided with a truck coming from opposite direction in Devgaon village at Azamgarh-Varanasi road around 10 pm on Saturday. Due to heavy impact, Sahdev Yadav (65), his wife Indira (63) and their sons Chote lal (45) and Prithvi Pal (32), all of Aazamgarh died on the spot. locals rushed the scene on getting to know the incident and pulled out the victims from badly mangled vehicle. They also chased the truck. Seeing villager after him, the driver managed to escape the scene abandoning the truck. The victims were rushed to hospital where the doctors declared them brought dead. A case has been registered in this connection and further investigations are on.
