In a shocking incident, a woman chopped off the private parts of her live-in partner after the 32-year-old man allegedly tried to rape her minor daughter.
The incident took place in Mahewaganj area of Lakhimpur Kheri on Wednesday night. The 36-year-old woman was living with the man for two years after she abandoned her husband over his drinking habit.
The woman stated that she was on time and caught the accused red-handed. She fought with the man for around 40 minutes but when she felt that she could not control the fellow, she took a knife from the kitchen and cut his genitals.
“I was working on the farm when the incident took place. Fortunately, I returned home in the nick of time and caught him red-handed. He even attacked me while I was trying to save my daughter so I brought a knife from the kitchen and chopped off his private parts to teach him a lesson. I have no regrets for what I did,” the woman said.
The man’s condition is serious and he has been sent to Lucknow for further treatment.
According to Lakhimpur Station House Officer Chandrashekhar Singh, the accused has been charged with rape under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and other provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act. He stated that the accused would be interrogated when he recovers.
Meanwhile, in another bizarre case reported from Bulandshahr, a married lover got into an argument with his girlfriend after which he kidnapped her 4-year-old innocent son, brutally murdered him and later hanged the dead body.
The incident took place on Thursday night and when the villagers went towards the field for their daily work on Friday morning, they saw the body of the child hanging from the tree. The locals informed the police about the body.
Reports said that a married man, a resident of Maukheda area under the Kotwali City police station of Bulandshahr, was having an affair with a local woman living with her 4-year-old son. The woman’s husband works in Faridabad. The man had left his wife and children and was living with his woman friend.
On Thursday night, there was a dispute between the two over something. Angered by this, the woman went to the village with her son. The angry lover kidnapped the four-year-old innocent son of the woman, killed him and later hanged the body from a tree.
Local police along with senior officers rushed to the spot after getting information about the body. Later on the complaint of the woman, a case was registered against the accused and a hunt was launched to arrest him. The body was also sent for autopsy.
