Wahid Siddiqui has been nominated as the working president of Mamata Banerjee led All India Trinamool Congress(AITC) in Uttar Pradesh. Siddiqui along with TMC MlA Shyam Sunder Sharma, who is also state president, would steer the party for the 2014 lok Sabha elections, announced party UP's observer Asif Khan here on Sunday.
A builder by profession, Siddiqui, said that he would strengthen the party at the grass root level and would construct a platform for the party to contest the lS polls in a big way.
Talking to reporters Khan said that the party has great plans for UP and would contest all the 80 lS seats without going for any alliance.
