Aiming to build pressure on the Modi government and pave the way for construction of Ram temple, BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha member Vinay Katiyar announced the formation of a ‘Balidani Dasta’ (sacrifice group) to fight for the early construction of the temple at Ayodhya. “This group will pave way for the construction of Ram temple. But its programme would be announced only after the court verdict. Till then, we will set up the group,’’ Katiyar said while talking to media persons in lucknow on Tuesday. Katiyar said that the land where lord Ram was born belongs to Hindus and the temple would be constructed there. ‘’We want a peaceful solution to the issue, so that the Ram temple is constructed by the support of all communities. But if there is something adverse, then our Balidani Dasta will look into it,’’ he said. Meanwhile, new VHP president VS Kokje announced in Ayodhya on Tuesday that the Ram temple would be constructed with the support of all. Kokje also held a meeting with delegates of RSS, BJP and VHP here. “The Ram temple will be constructed as soon as possible after the court’s verdict. The entire universe is run by Almighty God and he will pave way for the construction of the temple,” he said.
