Self styled Godman Asaram might faced more trouble as an audio clip of Asaram and witness Kripal Singh was given to police by the victim’s father in which he was allegedly trying to offer money to Kripal Singh, the prime witness into rape case, to keep mum. The Godman allegedly got the said witness eliminated recently.
Victim’s Kripal father has claimed that the conversation between the duo was recorded eight months back when two goons of Asaram, Sanjay and Raghav went to Kripal Singh’s home and asked him that Asharam wants to talk to him but they were not aware that the voice call was being recorded on the mobile phone. Victim’s father has also claimed that in the recorded voice clip, Asaram was trying to offer a hefty sum of money to Kripal Singh for keeping mum in the case of rape charges leveled against the Godman. He further claimed that half of the money will be given in advance while the rest after the work is done. Victim’s father has alleged that Asaram was using mobile phone from inside the jail.
However Kripal refused to accept the money and said that he will reveal the truth before the court which finally costs his life. Superintendent of Police(SP) in Shahjahenpur Bablu Kumar claimed that the father of the victim has given them an audio tape in which Asaram is asking Kripal Singh to keep mum and trying to offer a hefty amount of money in the rape case charged against him. Kumar added that police are checking the authenticity of the tape and if the alleged voice in the tape matches with the voice of Asaram and then this tape will also be made a part of the investigation.
Kripal Singh was sprayed with bullets by two unidentified bike borne criminals on July 10 last, he succumbed to the injuries on the very same night in the hospital. Kripal Singh’s family member alleged that he was shot by Asaram’s men as he recorded his statement against the self styled Godman two months back in a court of Jodhpur.
