Claiming this year’s `Shaurya Diwas’ celebration on December 6 to be the last the Vishwa Hindu Parishad said that next year this celebration will be held at the construction site of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya as ‘vijayotsava’.
“The silver jubilee year of Babri masjid demolition this December 6 will be the last occasion for the Hindu community to observe it as Shaurya Diwas. The construction of a grand Ram temple is all set to commence from October 18, 2018,” VHP Prant in-charge and RSS Pracharak Bholendra told The Pion eer here on Thursday.
VHP celebrates demolition of Babri Mosque as Shaurya Diwas on December 6 of every year. This being the silver jubilee year the VHP has planned programmes at block levels in which the Hindu organisation will take a pledge to build Ram Temple in Ayodhya next year. “ VHP has set up committees in all the blocks of UP to observe Shaurya Diwas in a big way. The committee members are drawn in from VHP, Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini will take part in construction of temple,” Bholendra said.
Bholendra said there would be no compromise on any mosque in Ayodhya and the construction of the Ram Temple would be done by none other than the Shree Ram Janambhoomi Nyas led by Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. The stones carved by the VHP would be used for the temple.
“We are expecting that Supreme Court will give its verdict by October after commencing hearing on December 5 on a daily basis. Hence, we are confident that by October 2018 construction of Ram temple will start, he said.
Bholendra disclosed that a high-level Kendriya Yojna meeting of senior VHP functionaries would be held in Bhubaneswar in Odisha for four days from December 26 in which the final strategy would be drafted for early construction of the Ram temple.
He pointed out that it had already been announced that between March 18 and 30 every Hindu family would chant ‘Vijay Mahamantra’ of ‘Shree Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram’ in their houses and it will culminate as a dharam sabha in a temple in every village, block, cities and districts.
“We are expecting huge Hindu support to the Ram Temple issue again like we did in early 1990s which led to the demolition of the Babri structure in 1992. Ram Temple will be constructed with peoples’ participation,” he said.
