BJP member of parliament from Pilibhit constituency Varun Gandhi would be the only MP in the country who has spent cent per cent of his MP local Area Development Fund (MPlAD) before stipulated time.
Not only the Bharatiya Janata Party MP spent his all MPlAD fund but his proposals for development work were always remained with the district magistrate in advance.Even this year,he had already submitted the proposals worth more than he was to receive till July as first installment out of the total rs five crore per annum towards the MPlAD fund for the developmental activities of the constituency.
According to official sources, Varun Gandhi used his funds for the development in education, health and infrastructure activities. As of today, his proposals were worth more than the entire MPlAD funds thus ensuring the entire amount of Rs 25 crore was spent during his tenure as a member of parliament. His political aides claimed that he submitted the proposals on time and also employed his personal team to monitor the use of money.
