Use your talent to change face of the country: CM to youths

Taking a cue from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann ki Baat programme, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday addressed youths in the first of a series of ‘Yuvaon ke Mann ki Baat, Mukhya Mantri ke Saath’ wherein he exhorted them to utilise their talent to change the face of the country.

“Every person in this room has talent. The need is to identify the talent and work for betterment of the state and the country,” Yogi said during his interaction with youths.

The programme was co-ordinated by Bharatiya Janata Party’s youth wing, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, and the programme was beamed live in adjoining districts.

Yogi said that 2019 was very crucial for the country and the future rested on the shoulders of the youths. He asked the youths to actively participate in the election.

“I ask all of you to take active part in this festival of democracy because UP will decide the future of this country,” Yogi said in an oblique reference to the state sending maximum number of members to the Lok Sabha.

Yogi said that in the last two years, the face of UP had changed. “Investors are coming to invest in UP. By successfully organising Kumbh Mela, the state has shown its prowess at the global market. This is the reason that wherever youths from UP will go now, their work will be recognised,” he said.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the achievements of his government which include construction of houses for the poor, providing quality power in villages and improving transportation by building new roads.

“You go out and experience the changes in UP. Spread the word that UP is changing fast,” Yogi said.

BJYM state chief Subhash Yaduvansh said that over 1,000 students took part in this programme, the objective of which was the Chief Minister’s interaction with youths.

“We have a young Chief Minister who shared his views with the youths. He told them how his government had helped youths through various policies,” the BJYM state president said.

The BJYM will organise such programmes in all the 80 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state. Students from across districts and cities would be asked to take part in the programme.
