Highlighting the achievements of the Narendra Modi government Minister of State for Urban Development Hardeep Puri met intelligentsia class of the state capital on Sunday and apprised them of the development work being carried out by the government in last four years.
He met under the party’s “Contact for Support” campaign under which leaders will meet prominent citizens to educate them about government policies and seek their support for the coming lok Sabha elections. Over 4000 party leaders will contact over 1 lakh people, who matter, in last one year.
“In last four years the Central Government has launched various development schemes with a single aim to ensure that its benefits reach the poor. The sole aim of this government is ensure that poor should get all the basic facilities of life which he deserves. The policies are being implemented without any bias because the spirit behind implementation is `Sabka saath sabka vikas’,” Puri said in his interaction with the intelligentsia class.
Puri had an interaction with retired IAS officers like U K Mittal, A.P. Verma, Anis Anasri, Atul Guta, R Ramani, retired IPS likes K l Gupta, D K Sharma, MD lucknow Metro D Kumar Keshav, vice-chancellor lucknow UniversityProf SP Singh, Principal la Martiniere Ashita Das, Director Balram Hospital Dr Rajiv lochan, noted Eye surgeon Dr Sanjiv Hansraj and others.
Puri said in last four years the farmers who were deprived of the benefits of the government schemes are being included in the main stream.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had met cine star Sanjay Dutt on Saturday under Contact for Support programme.
