UP Rajya Vidyut Parishad Abhiyanta Sangh (UPRVPAS) on Sunday demanded filling over 100 posts of executive, superintending and chief engineers through promotion.
UPRVPAS general secretary, OP Pandey said, while UP was reeling under power crisis over hundred senior posts of engineering cadre in power department were lying vacant and power corporation management was yet to create new posts for Paricha and Harduaganj thermal units already commissioned. Stressing promotion of engineers on vacant posts he said, these posts must be filled soon as engineers could contribute in improving power supply in the state.
