The UPCC has raised question mark over the proposed visit of the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav along with a large contingent of ministers and officials to Harrvard Univeristy regarding the arrangements during the recently concluded Kumbh Meal at Allahabad.
The UPCC spokesman Veerendra Madan while talking to meidapersons on Sunday said that if the CM has been invited then he must go there with a smaller contingent to save the state exchequer. " Why was he taking several minister and officials along with him for the purpose" asked Madan putting question mark on the rational behind the move.
The UPCC spokesman said that it would have been better that before going abroad the CM should have improve the law and order situation in the state. " The present law and order has ashamed us before the world and international
players are staying away from the state fearing their safety and security " he said. " If the CM thinks to be credited for the Kumbh then who is responsibl for the killing of large number of devotees who dies in the mishap during the Kumbh" Madan said.
