State employees and pensioners have been waiting for the DA hike for more than a year-and-a-half.  At present, DA is being paid to the employees at the rate of 17 per cent and with the increase they will be getting 28 per cent DA.

Recently, during the monsoon session of the assembly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced the payment of dearness allowance and dearness relief to the state employees and pensioners.
