The Uttar Pradesh Government has included NCERT books in the academic session 2018-19 to teach modern subjects in recognised madarsas being run by the Uttar Pradesh Madarsa Education Board. Directions have been issued to the management of all recognised madarsas to place their purchase order of NCERT books on the basis of class wise students in their madarsa.
The Registrar of UP Madarsa Education Board gave this information.
He said that all the District Minorities Welfare Officers have been directed to get estimate of class wise students in all recognised madarsas in their district and handover the madarsa wise demand letter to the NCERT’s authorised vendors in their district (http://ncertbooks.ncert.gov.in/static/list_of_vendors.pdf).
The madarsas should also be informed that they can download the text books in PDF FORMAT without any charges from the link of NCERT’s official website ncert.nic.in/textbook/textbook.htm.
