The Uttar Pradesh Government has sanctioned Rs. 17 crore in the current financial year for paying salary to the teaching and non-teaching staff of 146 new permanently recognised Arabi-Farsi Madarsas of Aaliya level.
Similarly, an amount of Rs. 20 crore has been sanctioned for paying salary to teaching and non-teaching staff of 100 other new permanently recognised Arabi-Farsi Madarsas of Aaliya level and Rs. 80 crore has been sanctioned for paying salary etc to teaching and non-teaching staff of aided Arabi-Farsi madarsas.
A government order in this connection has been issued by the Minorities Welfare and Waqf Department and the sanctioned amount has been kept at disposal of the Director, Minorities Welfare.
