UP Congress attacks CM for bringing out 'white Paper'

Uttar Pradesh Congress attacked chief minister for bringing out `White Paper’ on failure of successive governments in the State. It is evident that the Yogi Adityanath government has no achievements to speak of.

“If State government has made great achievements during first 6-months of their rule, why Yogi preferred to enter the State Assembly through back door instead of going to the public on basis of it’s work and seek their mandate again”, questioned Satyadeo Tripathi, chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Media Committee. ``Yogi was well aware of it’s complete failure to lead this state hence instead of facing a sure defeat in the battle of ballots, he used the entire government to force some Opposition Party’s MlCs to resign and later to get himself and four of his colleagues all through the back door”, Tripathi claimed while alleging that the BJP governments, both in the Centre and now in State, are just accusing the Opposition Parties for the entire mess and not telling what they had done.

Tripathi made above remarks while reacting on Yogi’s release of `White Paper’ on failure of government during last 15-years rule in the State. He said that BJP is also not holding Urban Bodies Polls, University Students Union Polls, and will also avoid to go for by-polls for Gorakhpur, Phoolpur Parliamentary constituency to be vacated by Yogi and his deputy chief minister, Keshav Prasad Maurya, as the Party knows well that they will face defeat for cheating the public.

“last six months of Yogi government just showed large scale deterioration on law and order front, cheating the farmers by making false promises on loan waiver, clearance of dues of cane farmers, worsening of power situation with long power cuts even in urban areas, no creation of any jobs and even making losing their livelihood due to wrong economic policies of the government, attack on Dalits and down-trodden section of the society, dividing the society on caste or religion line etc”, highlighted Tripathi said people were feeling the pinch of giving massive support to BJP as now even their two time bread is also going out of their hands due to rising prices of essential commodities.

Meanwhile the lok Gathbandhan Party (lGP) also claimed that the BJP government led by Yogi Adityanath, has totally failed to live up to the expectations of the people of the state during its last six months rule. The Party said the BJP had made very tall promises during the election campaign but after its six months in power it has done nothing to ameliorate the sufferings of the people. State Coordinator of the Party, SN Singh, in a statement here on Monday said that while law and order situation continues to be grim, the government has hardly taken any steps to eradicate rampant corruption in the system. He said apart from other issues, the BJP had made law and order main electoral plank, for which the people voted the party to power. But after six months of its completion in the power, the crime situation continues to be the same, as it was during the previous Samajwadi Party regime.

On much-publicized loan waiving scheme for the farmers, the BJP has backtracked on its poll promise. The party during the election, had assured all the farmers to waiving of their loan but now its implementation is completely lopsided and faulty, as the lakhs of genuine farmers have been left out.
