It is now official that the next Cabinet meeting will be held at the Kumbh tent city in Prayagraj on January 29 in which the government is likely to take important decisions.
Government spokesman Awanish Awasthi said here on Sunday that the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet meeting would start at 11 am and all Cabinet ministers and the officers concerned would take part in it.
This is the first time that a Cabinet meeting is being held in Kumbh tent city in Prayagraj. Earlier, in 1962, the Govind Ballabh Pant Cabinet had once met outside Lucknow — in Nainital.
The agenda of the meeting has not yet been declared and is expected to be announced on January 28, a day before the Cabinet meets in Prayagraj.
Sources claim that the ministers will take a dip in the Ganga before attending the meeting.
Dharma Sansad is also expected to meet in Kumbh Mela Area in February and before that a core committee meeting (Param Dharma Sansad) will be held between January 28 and 30.
