UP board exams centres kept secrative

The state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party said that in an attempt to keep cheating mafia in good humour state government is yet to finalize examination centres for the UP Board Examinations slated to start from February.

“It is almost mid of December but out of 18 divisions, examination centres have not been finalized as yet in 12 divisions. This is only because of the influence of cheating mafia.  The Samajwadi Party Government has given a long rope to these mafia because they provide funds to the Samjawdai Party during elections,” BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said here on Tuesday. In his daily briefing he said that in many divisions the government has declared the first list but is yet to declare the final list. In some divisions government is yet to finalise the list. Many of the black-listed schools have been named as examination centre because they are operated by members of ruling party, he said.

“last year government had declared that CCTVs would be installed in examination centres but no budgetary allocation was made for this proposal. The Government decided to shelve this idea because cheating is Rs 10,000 crore business and leaders of the ruling party have finger in this pie,” he said.

He also raised questions about incidents of fire reported from government buildings. “Of late frequency of fire in government buildings has increased. Earlier, a big block of Swasthaya Bhawan was gutted followed by a fire in Bapu Bhawan. Government should come clean is there an attempt to destroy important files,” he said.
