In a subtle attack on the leaders and ally partners who are attacking BJP leadership party president Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey said that leaders, some of them might be ministers, should behave in public as per the dignity of the constitutional post they are holding.
Without naming Om Prakash Rajbhar, president of Suheldeo Bahujan Samaj Party who is also cabinet minister in Yogo Government, and has criticised BJP leadership publically, Dr Pandey said that such leaders should mend their ways.
“We are walking an extra mile to accommodate the ally partner because we believe in fulfilling the Raj Dharma. Some leaders have issued statements against government. If these are by mistake they should make amends otherwise the party leadership will have to take a tough stand on this issue,” BJP state president said while talking to reporters here on Sunday.
He said that some of the leaders are holding constitutional posts. They should behave as per the dignity of that post. There is a proper forum to raise their complaints. One cannot go to the public with their grievances every time, Dr Pandey said.
This is the first time BJP leadership has reacted sharply against Om Prakash Rajbhar who had been criticizing functioning of Yogi government time and again. Many a times he had threatened to walk out of the alliance saying Yogi government is biased towards dalits and MBCs.
Meanwhile, DR Pandey said that party has decided to continue with the Gram Swaraj Abhiyan after oits massive response. He also appointed heads of different Morcha. Ranjana Upadhaya will be head of Mahila Morcha, Vidyacharan Sonkar will head SCIJST Morcha, Vijay Bahadur Pathak to head Backward Morcha and Pankaj Singh will be in-charge of Kisan Morcha.
