The first supplementary budget for the current fiscal 2021-22 will be presented in the Uttar Pradesh assembly on August 20. The monsoon session with four sittings of the state assembly will commence here from August 17.
As per the agenda of the House announced by the assembly secretariat, there will be no official business in the House on the first day and the House will be adjourned after condoling the death of former members of the assembly.
On August6 18, the House will take up the official business like tabling of four bills replacing ordinances and other official business. On account of Muharram holiday there will be no sitting of the House on August 19.
The first supplementary budget will be tabled in the House on August 20 by Finance Minister Suresh Khanna. The House will have two sittings on August 23 and August 24. The supplementary grants are likely to be passed on August 24.
The meeting of the business advisory committee of the House will be held on the morning of August 16 to be followed by the meeting of the leaders of all parties in the House. Chief minister Yogi Adityanath will also attend the all party meeting.
