Rape accused BJP legislator Kuldeep Singh Sengar, presently in CBI custody, is in for more trouble with the probe agency set to include his name in the killing of the rape victim’s father. The move is expected to come after the CBI grills the MlA’s brother Atul Sengar, who will be now on 4-days custody remand of the CBI along with his aides from Wednesday morning.

“To ensure that Sengar did not take advantage of being released on bail in case of the POCSO Act as the rape victim was found not to be a minor at the time of incident, the CBI team would take Atul Sengar in custody remand and on the basis of his statement and evidences, the probe team could add the MlA’s name in the murder case also,” said sources.

Meanwhile the Special CBI court has granted four days police custody of five accused in the murder of the Unnao rape victim father on Tuesday evening. The accused including Atul Sengar, brother of the BJP MlA Kuldeep Singh Sengar was given under CBI custody for four days starting from Wednesday morning.  The other accused where were granted CBI custody along with Atul are Sonu Singh, Shailu, Vinit and Babua. All the five are accused in the murder of the victim’s father and are in the Unnao jail since April 10. Sources here on Tuesday said that the CBI moved the remand petition after the case was transferred to the agency by the special court on Monday. A six member special Central Forensic Science laboratory (CFSl) team from New Delhi also reached Unnao to do a scientifice investigation of the crime. The CBI will also seek permission to conduct either narco analysis or at least, polygraphy test on both Kuldeep Singh Sengar and his reported woman associate Shashi Singh.

Meanwhile, on Monday, the CBI registered a fourth case in connection with the Unnao rape case. In the new case, Shashi Singh’s son Shubham Singh has been included as an accused. Shashi was accused of taking the victim to the MlA’s house where the rape reportedly took place. On Monday, Shashi Singh was sent to four-day CBI custody.

Shashi had claimed last week that the alleged survivor in Unnao rape case had framed her son Shubham in a false rape case nine months back, for which he had to serve a jail term. “She often frames people levelling false charges against them. Earlier it was my son and now she is framing the MlA,” Shashi had said.

On June 20, 2017, based on the victim’s complaint at Makhi police station at Unnao, Subham, Naresh Tiwari and Brajesh Yadav were arrested for illegal detention, kidnapping and gang rape. The Makhi police had already submitted a charge-sheet in the court in this case.

A fresh case was registered by the CBI on the direction of Allahabad High court which had asked the agency to investigate the June 20, 2017 incident.
