The district administration has started the search and arrest of the VHP activists and seers adamant to participate in the 84 kosi parikrama defying the ban order on it .the top officials of the district administration including divisional commissioner Sanjay prasad DM Bipin Kumar Diwedi SSP
KB Singh and about 36 magistates on duty were busy in executing the security plan and the deployment of police forces on the 40 key points on parikrama rout and installation of barricades and barriers . Meanwhile the spokesman of the district administration said that 50 person who were on the way to parikrama were arrested along with19 sadhus . The CO Ayodhya Tarkeshwar pandey while talking to the pioneer said that the deployment of police forces was almost completed and owing to tight police security the parikrama could not be conducted . The SP (RA ) Piyush Ranjan said that 70 arrests has been made in the rural area of district,and over two dozen barriers were made at the roads connecting to the temple city and the 84 kosi parikrama route .
Meanwhile an uneasy calm is witnessing in the temple city on Saturday . The markets and the various temples which were seen over crowded on the occasion of Sawan jhoola mela which concluded on Aug 21 had a deserted look on Friday had converted the city into a police chawni , scene was totally changed next day and no police pickets were seen on road side markets and in the temples . According to the spokesman of the district administration the police pickets had been spread across the parikrama route and the adjacent villages of it .
Meanwhile the prominent seer of famous Digamber Akhara mahant Suresh Das said that the seers and sadhus of the temple city were ready to join the parikarma according to the plan made by the convener of the parikrama . the temples are vacated by them but according to the plan they would directly reach at the site on the rout . the media incharge of the VHP Sharad Sharma while elaborating on the plan said that now the activists and the seers across the 40 states of the country would directly reach at the parikrama route. He said that the residents of the temple city had also decided to join the parikrama defying the ban order on it by the state government . He said that the cooperators of the different wards would lead them .
