To ensure peace during chief minister Yogi Adityanath and governor Ram Naik function in Ayodhya on Wednesday, local administration had put a former minister in the Samajwadi Party government, Tej Narain Pandey aka Pawan Pandey, under Rs House Arrest’.
The move was made after apprehending that the SP leaders might protest recent action of the Bharatiya Janta Party leaders who damaged Rs foundation stone’ of Shree Ram Chikatsalya’ just as it bears the name of former UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. Reports said that on October 11 last, some BJP leaders damaged the foundation stone of Shree Ram Chikatsalya after finding the name of Akhilesh Yadav. Reacting to the BJP leader’s move, the local Samajwadi Party leaders staged a protest but before the two group clashed, local police chased them away.
Reports further said that in wake of the above, local administration apprehended that local SP leaders under the leadership of former minister Pawan Pandey, might took the opportunity of visit of both Yogi and Naik, who participated in Deep Ustav in Ayodhya on Wednesday, and created law and order problem. Hence, to maintain peace during the entire visit of Yogi, a team of Faizabad police reached Pawan Pandey’s house at Angoribagh area on early Wednesday morning and put him under Rs House Arrest’. Heavy police force has been deployed around Pandey’s house for the entire Wednesday and he was not allowed to move anywhere.
