A day after the three-day dharna of farmers led by Sanyukt Kisan Morcha in Khiri, Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra Teni said people like Rakesh Tikait would not have any impact on the farmers as they know who is their friend.
He even termed Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait a worthless person. Addressing his supporters in Khiri, Teni said: “No matter how many Rakesh Tikaits come here, I know they will not have any impact on the farmers of this area. The farmers now know Rakesh Tikait. He is a worthless man.”
“Sometimes, dogs bark at you and chase your car. It is their nature. So, I won’t say anything more about it,” he added.
Teni alleged Tikait earns his livelihood by misleading people. “Everyone knows how worthless Rakesh Tikait is. He contested elections twice and lost. This shows how much support he enjoys,” Teni said.
