The temple city of lord rama is again witnessing the scenario of Aug 25 the starting day of the controversial 84 kosi parikrama . and district administration had implemented the same plan of the security arrangement of elaborate deployment of paramilitary forces PAC and civil police to stop the VHP’s Mahasankalp sabha scheduled be held on Friday .
The ADM(city) Arvind chaurasiya said that the Faizabad dstrict had been sealed and nobody having intension to participate in the VHP’s mahasankalp sabha would be allowed to enter in the district . he said that the move of arrest of suspected persons who could participate in the sankalp sabha was on and uptill now over 65 activists of the VHP and the BJP had been taken into custody whereas 45 seers of the temple city associated with the vhp’s ram temple movement had kept under house arrest in their temples .
Meanwhile the state DGP Deo raj Nagar and the chief secretary homes along with the team of their senior officials visited the temple city on Thursday and held a meeting of local officer to discuss the security plan for the mahasankalp sabha which had been banned by the state government . he visited the temple city’s sensitive places and the VHP’s headquarters Karsewak puram and the closed ground of ramsewak puram where the maha sankalp was scheduled to be performed . the DGP Nagar said that the state government had banned the mahasankalp sabha of the VHP keeping in view the law and order situation of the temple city and avoid any sensational assault on other community in the wake of the temple mosque dispute which was pending in the supreme court . in such a condition we would follow the directions of the government and would not allow any person or organization to give any chance to disturb the peace of the hyper sensitive city of the state .The VHP spokesman Sharad Sharma who had been also taken into custody in the afternoon said that all the preparation had been completed for the maha sankalp sabha and if the state government and the district administration did not allow it under the directions issued in section 144 the plan would change at the eleventh hours.
Till the evening the roads connecting the twin cities of Faizabad and the Ayodhya, had been sealed and the entry of all the vehicles in the city had been stopped .
Meanwhile the prominent seer of Mani ram chhawni math mahant Kamal Das said that the state government was unnecessarily creating the communal tension by imposing ban on the democratic rights of rituals and religious programms of hindu community . this matter would be discussed in the meeting of kedriya Marg darshak Mandal going to be held at Delhi on Oct 19 and 20 . he said .
