Samajwadi Party national president Mulayam Singh Yadav said that Third Front will form the next government at the Centre as the regional parties in states are giving a tough fight to Congress and BJP.

"There is no wave in favour of BJP and its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. This wave is only visible in media and TV channels. The fact is all the regional parties are doing well in their respective state. In Uttar Pradesh Samajwadi Party is on a strong footing and it will sweep the elections," Yadav told reporters in Mainpuri after filing nomination on Friday.

Yadav along with his cousin Prof Ram Gopal Yadav reached the collectorate at 2.05 pm and filed the papers as per the advise of astrologers.later talking to reporters he said that people have seen the UPA Government that has led to inflation and corruption while BJP’s agenda is to divide the society on the communal lines. In this scenario only the regional parties will play an important role.

"The Third Front will form the government in which samajwadi Party will play a crucial role," Yadav declared.

When he was asked about the meeting between Congress Chief Sonia Gandhji and Imam of Jama Masjid Imam Bhukhari Yadav said: "let’ see what transpires between them. But I am sure Muslims will not be swayed by lies of Congress Chief."

"You try to find out whether Muslims and Congress are coming together. It is true that Muslims and farmers are the most harassed lot in this country. I always talks about them and try to extend relief to them," he said.

When asked why he is contesting from two seats Yadav said: "There was a long pending demand from the people of Azamgarh to contest from there. That region is very close to my heart. This time I could not refuse the request of the people and thus decided to contest from Mainpuri and Azamgarh."

"I will decide about which seat to retain after election," he said keeping this million dollar question under wraps.
