Armed with Narendra Modi App, BJP workers have been asked to don the role of salesman and go to people apprising them of the achievements of Modi Government and exposing Akhilesh Yadav `sarkar’.
“The battle of ballot has begun. Everyday when you go out go to people as good salesman. Tell them about the good work being done by the Modi Government including Mudra banking, Jan Dhan Yojana and introduction of interview – free employment in class IV and Class III,” Om Mathur, UP in-charge of Bharatiya Janata Party said while addressing workers during State Working Committee meeting here on Friday.
“You have much to talk about. What Modi Government has done in two years no other government has even done in five decades. Download Modi App in your smart phone. This will keep you abreast of achievements of Modi government. Go and sell these achievements among the people,” he said.
The one day state working committee held here centered around Narendra Modi. The leader – one after another – talked about achievements of BJP Government and how it has taken India to new height. All of them spoke about need to take Modi’s name at the grass root level because his name would be the selling point for them.
“We will give talking point to district and divisional heads which they should disseminate among the booth level workers,” he said. “The best part is BJP has over 2 crore members. We wanted to connect with 1.40 lakh booth workers and till date we have been able to identify 1.12 lakh booth workers. This means in every booth we have worker – which is a very positive sign,” Mathur said.
The BJP, which is looking to revive its fortune in the politically sensitive state is set to have three-porn strategy. One is Modi, second dalit and third is misrule of Akhilesh Yadav Government. leaders have been asked to tell dalits about Modi Government’s initiative to set up `Panch Teerth’ in memory of Dr BR Ambedkar. Besides, the party will go to the town with National Crime Bureau report which says UP accounts for 18 per cent of the total crime against dalits in India.
“I will give you a list of 92 cases of dalit atrocities where police did not take action against criminals because they belonged to ruling party. Expose this corrupt and inefficient government. The only achievement of this Government is that in last four years it has given patronage to criminals and propped up Yadav clan,” BJP state president Dr laxmi Kant Bajpai said in his presidential address.
He said people are fed up with this corrupt government which cannot look beyond people of particular caste and religion. law and order situation is so bad that lucknow has become dumping ground of dead bodies.
“Go to people with slogan `Na Gundai Na bharstachar. Abki baar Bhajpa Sarkar,” Dr Bajpai said.
The working committee meeting concluded with an appeal from Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra to every worker to take Modi’s good work to every house. “The opposition parties specially Congress and left cannot digest popularity of Modi and therefore has spread a canard against the BJP Government,” he said.
The party also took out a resolution “Uttar Pradesh ke Samgra vikas ka sankalp” in which it talked about cow slaughter, non payment of cane dues, drought in Bundelkhand and failure of the state government to extend relief to farmers who lost crop in unseasonal rains. It mentioned CAG report to highlight corruption and poor financial state of UP.
“Go to the people with a promise to give them transparent and corruption-free government. Tell them BJP is the only alternative as other parties are corrupt and lack will to control crime,” the resolution said.
