Calling Central government as ‘Suit-boot and loot, Juth (lie) ki Sarkar’, senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha, MP, Pramod Tewari, accused prime minister, Narendra Modi for bringing shame to the nation by claiming that before he took charge, people know the country as ‘Scam India’. “I am shocked the Party which had prime minister like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who always put country’s prestige at top, now had the leader like Narendra Modi, who by calling Indian as Scam Country, before he (Modi) become prime minister, had brought shame for every Indian”, claimed Pramod Tewari. He said that during Congress government in the Centre, they sent Vajpayee to represent India and every citizen of the country was proud on the former NDA’s PM in the manner in which he rise above the Party lines had put the country prestige on top. Former ClP leader, also accused Modi of making compromise with the country’s prestige by maintaining a silent when during an official function in China, the government there had put Indian map removing Arunchal and Kashmir from it.
Further taking on PM over his much publicised corruption free government as major achievement in last one year, Tewari questioned that by carrying an industrialist abroad to ensure his business interest is not a conduct of PM which pointed towards corruption. “Everyone knows that Adani had provided plane to Modi during entire campaign for last Parliament elections and now the former Gujrat chief minister repaying it by taking Adani on every foreign tour and ensuring his business interest”, alleged Tewari. “Everyone knows that Modi left the foreign minister, home minister, defense minister, and finance minister at home and took Adani to overseas during making any deal”, pointed Tewari adding that the manner in which Adani shares even crossed Mukesh Ambani’s share clearly pointed that Modi is now repaying the Gujrati industrialist. “The conduct of PM by ensuring his industrialist friend’s business interest pointed of how the government was not run by Modi but by an industrialist”, added Tewari saying that even after this, Modi claimed that his government was engaged in no corruption.
Tewari also said that the rally in Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhya’s native village in Mathura was just organised by Modi to misguide the nation. “Everyone knows about Upadhya’s stands on Kashmir issue, but as Modi shake hands with separatists forces in J&K, who openly hoisted Pakistani flag and in the manner in which BJP formed government with PDP, Modi knows that he failed to act against it so to divert the attention, he had organized rally in Mathura in the name of remembering Upadhaya.
He also accused of forwarding the benefit of decrease in crude oil prices to the oil companies. “Today, when the international price of crude oil is half than what it is in UPA’s regime, Modi is still selling petrol at higher prices than what was sold in our regime”, Tewari asserted. He said that Modi also cheated the farmers by saying that they would get 50 percent bonus of the price cost on production of the crop. Similarly, he lied on bringing back black money and even transferring Rs 15 lakh in each account within 100 days.
