Tension prevailed in Moradabad after night long rescue work by the municipal corporation could not trace four missing people who fell in the under construction sewage on Saturday. The district authorities have summoned the experts from the Army on Sunday to assist the Municipal corporation to rescue the drowned people.
Police sources said that four people including a woman fell in an under construction sewage in Galsahid area during heavy downpour Saturdayevening. A private contractor was constructing the new sewage line in the locality.
As there were heavy rains,the people could not be traced by the divers. Meanwhile people assembled in the spot and started protest with raising slogans against the government and the district authorities. large contingent of police force has been deployed in the area. Senior district and police officials were monitoring the rescue work.
