Cabinet minister Suresh Khanna said that plantation of seed is not enough but for better results everyone should save the plant till it becomes a big tree.
Khanna made above remarks while addressing a gathering in a programme organised by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on the theme ‘Pollution free environment in UP”. He said commoners are always aware about their rights but they get careless about their duties towards society, environment and nature on Saturday afternoon.
Criticizing previous Akhilesh government’s initiative about plantation Khanna said “5 crore plants were planted in previous government. Who is going to count the numberIJ Who will save themIJ” Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts and policies Khanna said “India will be world leader again in fine leadership of PM Modi.” Modi made Yoga popular in the world he added.
Talking about cleanliness drive Khanna said that the drive can be fruitful only when all persons will understand their responsibility. Interestingly, Mahendra Singh state minister (Independent Charge) rural development, medical and health said that they should present the plants instead of flower bouquet to guests as it will help to save environment.
