Bahujan Samaj Party president Mayawati has charged that the situation in UP has deteriorated after   Yogi Adityanath led BJP government has taken over. She said far from any tangible improvement in daily lives of the common people it has gone from bad to worse.

Mayawati made the observation while addressing a meeting of the office bearer of the Bihar unit of the party here on Sunday.   She said far from the expectations of the common people there is no change in UP after the new government took over and people are facing threat to their liberty as given by the constitution.

``The interference of the government in the daily life of the people is rising   and the government is imposing new rules for keeping the people hostage. Even if a person is unemployed and hungry new taxes are being imposed on the people’ said Mayawati.

Mayawati directed the leaders of the Bihar unit to expedite their efforts for mobilizing the dalits, OBCs and tribal’s in Bihar so that they could capture the master key of the political power. She said like the social, economic and educational   condition of the dalits was bad   as are the most marginalized section of the society of Bihar. She said the dalits neither own agriculture land nor have permanent source of employment and they were dependent on   agriculture labour for their survival.
