State government transferred seven IAS officers, including the Ghaziabad Municipal Commissioner, on Saturday.
Municipal Commissioner of Ghaziabad S K Singh has been shunted out and put on the wait list while Kalpana Awasthi, commissioner National Capital Region Ghaziabad, has been shifted as Additional Resident Commissioner Uttar Pradesh at New Delhi. District Magistrate of Ghaziabad, Vimal Kumar Sharma, has been given additional charge of the post of Municpal Commissioner of Ghaziabad till further orders.
According to an official communiqué of the state government released on Saturday afternoon, Kush Verma, who was on the wait list, would now replace Awasthi at Ghaziabad. Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources, Dheeraj Sahu has been transferred to Sodic land Development Department in the same capacity. Govind Raju N S, who was on the wait list, has been posted as Special Secretary, Rural Development. Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch, Surendra Singh has been shifted to Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department in the same capacity.
