With an aim to promoting environment and much-hyped lion Safari atEtawah, the state government has decided to organise an international cycle rally between Agra and Etawah every year from 2017.
The rally will be organised by Forest department – which will act as the nodal agency and will work in tandem with other departments. A decision in this regard was taken in the cabinet meeting held in lok Bhawan – the newly constructed CM’s Secretariat – on Monday.
A government spokesman said that the cabinet has given a go ahead to the Forest department to renovate a guest houses at Agra, Ferozabad and Etawah which will fall en route the cycle rally.
In another decision, the ste government has decided to introduce common application form for solving problems of MSME investors in the state. The investment facilities would be made available through a single window system in a transparent manner. The information from registration to disposing the cases would be available on line. A committee, headed by Chief Minister, will look into other issues related to investments in the MSME sectors.
The cabinet also gave its nod to Paddy purchase policy under which the minimum support price of common paddy variety is Rs 1470 per quintal while MSP of Grade `A’ paddy would be Rs 1510 per quintal. The government has set a target to purchase 50 lakh meteric tonne of paddy this fiscal.
The government spokesman said that in 2016-17 fiscal over 2600 purchase centres will be opened. The marketing cell of Food department been assigned the job to open purchase centres as per demand and ensure that paddy reaches the market at the minimum possible time. “The paddy purchase policy centres around bringing transparency in whole the transaction,” he said.
Besides, this government has also accepted the policy to strengthen fishery industry in the state. The government will provide `seeds’ to the farmers whole have big ponds where fish can be grown and cultivated.
The government has also decided to invite private players to set up sports academy in the state. For indoor sports, the state government will provide up to 2 acres of land while for outdoor sports academy, this would go up to 5 acres. A monitoring committee headed by Principal Secretary Sports will set up guidelines for the new policy.
The government has also decided to regularize services of Sports Teachers of Guru Gobind Singh Sports College, lucknow, Veer Bahadur Sports College and Saifai Sports College. The government has also fixed honorarium of drivers and home guard jawans working under Dial 100 project.
