The all important two-day state working committee meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party will start from Monday which will set the tone and tenor of the party’s next battle of ballots for Nagar Nigam and state Co-operative sector.

The state working committee meeting will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday evening while concluding session will be addressed by BJP national president Amit Shah on Tuesday.

This being the first state executive meeting after Yogi Adityanath has taken charge as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh focus will be on the political and economical resolutions the party adopts during this conclave.

“The meeting is likely to have a detailed discussion on elections in Nagar Nigam which is round the cornor. This election will be followed by elections in co-operative sectors. BJP is likely to formulate its strategy for these elections in this meeting,” BJP state general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak told The Pioneer here on Sunday.

He said that the meeting will also finalise the details of Deendayal Upadhaya birthday centenary celebrations. Between May 19 and May 25 over 30,000 party workers would be motivated to spread the ideology of Deendayal Upadhaya across the state.
