With the Yogi Adityanath government completing 100 days in office next week, the ruling BJP has called a meeting on Thursday to evaluate performance of the government. The Chief Minister will also attend the meeting.
State BJP office bearers including national vice-president Om Mathur, district presidents and some senior ministers in the Yogi cabinet were expected to take part in the meeting. The agenda will be to find better co-ordination between the government and the party.
State BJP general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak said on Wednesday that the meeting would review the programmes and chalk out roadmap for a future strategy.
The meeting would also review the programmes held under the Deen Dayal Upadhaya centenary birth celebrations, which will end on September 25.
Pathak said that the high point of the meeting will be that the CM will attend the meeting in which party office bearers will apprise him of people's feedback. "Recently party volunteers had visited all 1.48 lakh polling booths in the state. They will share their response with CM in this meeting," he said.
The meeting will be held in three phases. Different slots have been allotted for interaction with office bearers, district presidents, in-charge ministers and regional heads.
Pathak said that future programmes like planting 50 saplings in each polling booth in the name of Deen Dayal Upadhaya from July 25 and holding district level symposia on the life of the ideologue between July 26 to 31 would be discussed at length.
"The party will also hold 'Jan Kalyan' sammelans at all divisions between June 25 and 30 and blood donation camps between August 1 and 7," Pathak said.
