The held accused were taken to local Kotwali police station where they revealed their identity as Abhinav Pratap Singh aka `Baddu’, a resident of Maharajganj in Faizabad and Dhanesh Yadav aka Sonu aka Pahelwan Yadav, a native of Urwa Bazar in Gorakhpur. Singh said that both the held criminals were working on the direction of Dharmendra Pratap Singh aka Rinku Singh, right hand of Munna Bajrangi, presently lodged in Gazipur district jail. Bajrangi was lodged in Jhansi jail. On the directions of Bajrangi, Rinku got deputy mayor of Dhanbad, Neeraj Singh, eliminated. later they also killed the deputy jailer of Varanasi, Anil Tyagi.
