SP won’t be able to save even its citadel: Trivedi

National spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party and Rajya Sabha member Sudhanshu Trivedi  on Tuesday claimed that after the crushing defeat in two phases, the Samajwadi Party will not be able to save even its citadel in the third phase of polling.

“The coalition wants to win the elections on the basis of criminals. Now the criminal's son has been fielded through the alliance in Mau. People have deciphered the plans of the SP and the voters do not want a government that supports goons and mafia," Trivedi told mediapersons in Lucknow on Tuesday. The BJP leader further said that the SP was fighting for the existence of criminals and they were daydreaming of returning to power on the support of criminals.

“If the SP is not able to give themselves the tickets to criminals, they are making it happen through their alliance partners. They also have a nefarious alliance with the Congress and BSP is also not far behind. Now again what message does the Samajwadi Party want to give by giving ticket to Mukhtar Ansari's son by making him contest elections. The BJP is winning the third phase of elections by winning the most number of seats," said Trivedi.
