SP government changed for hate speech

Charging the SP government of forcing officials to change their statements leading to acquittal of BJP leader Varun Gandhi in cases of hate speech at Pilibhit, the Rashtriya lok Dal (RlD) said that it only exposed the communal face of the SP.Accusing the Akhilesh Yadav government of having a tacit truck with communal forces, RlD state chief Munna Singh Chauhan alleged that while making tall claims of minority welfare, the government forced officials to change their statements leading to the acquittal of Gandhi.

Stressing at SP's double face, Chauhan said that in the last one year nearly 40 cases of communal clashes took place across UP but the SP government was yet to identify the culprits behind the strife and initiate action.

"While the state government was busy doling out plum postings to SP workers and criminals, it as been refraining from setting up minority bodies like Madrsa Board, Minority Commission and Urdu Academy. This is suggestive of the real intentions of the ruling party leaders," said the RlD leader.

Demanding action against government officials for facilitating Varun Gandhi's acquittal, Chauhan said that within a year of being in power, the Akhilesh Yadav government has been exposed before the minorities.
